What To Expect

What to expect during your Initial Visit

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by one of our friendly client service specialists. You will be asked to fill out a new client/patient information form and submit any diagnostic material or records you may have brought with you. Once we enter your information into our practice management system, you and your pet will be escorted to one of our exam rooms. The doctor reviews any previous medical records and will meet with you to discuss your pet's medical history, current condition or chief complaint and then conduct a physical examination. The doctor may suggest additional diagnostic tests in order to provide more information to determine what course of action to recommend. These tests will be performed outside the exam room in one of our treatment areas.

If your appointment involves an abdominal ultrasound, fasting will be required. Please do not feed your pet after 10pm the night before the appointment. Water is allowed. If your appointment will involve an echocardiogram (ultrasound of the heart), no fasting is required. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment.
