Advanced Veterinary Care Center is dedicated to providing compassionate, high quality specialty and emergency care for your client’s pets. We function as an extension of your practice and understand the importance of maintaining the doctor-client relationship that you have established with your client. As an extension of your practice, it is our goal to provide the best possible care to your client’s pets and to keep you apprised of their condition and any change in their condition and to get them back to you as soon as possible.
Transfers
During regular office hours, our board certified specialists are available 6 days per week to handle your day time referrals and or emergency transfers. To transfer patients to AVCC please call the office at (310) 542-8018. Referral forms are also available upon request to the same phone number. For you convenience, you can also download our referral forms.
Emergencies: After Hours, Weekends and Holidays
With Advanced Veterinary Care Center, you can rest assured knowing that there is ‘round the clock emergency and critical care for your client’s pet should they ever need it.
We provide emergency and critical care services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A doctor is always on duty, with board certified specialists in internal medicine, cardiology, oncology and surgery available for consultation around the clock.
Our Emergency Service is anchored by experienced emergency doctors, Dr. Heather Elliott and Dr. Rosie Ramirez, who provide evening and weekend coverage 7 days per week.
Emergency Services Posters - Should your clients have an emergency after your regular office hours, we offer an Emergency Services window decal and that you can display on your office door or window. These convenient decals provide the essential information your clients will need to seek emergency services at our facility in Lawndale (office hours, location and phone number etc.). We also have magnets with the same emergency information for distribution to your clients. You are also welcome to provide this information on your telephone answering machine.
